Integration of young Caledonian students in Le Mans, Sarthe (France)
The arrival of more and more young Caledonian students in Le Mans led the University of Maine to contact our FCO Association to help these foreign youngers to live a social and cultural immersion with success in our town.

Origin of the project:
Graduates of the bachelor's degree, these young Caledonians aimed to to go to l'ESPE of Pays de La Loire based in Le Mans, in september 2017. They want to become professors or teachers. As France has a good reputation abroad for its pedagogy and its engineering and as France is the Caledonians' Country, it was easier for them to continue their studies in Metropolitan France.
FCO Association's objective:
Registered in L'ESPE of Pays de La Loire based in Le Mans for two years to become teachers, the association was contacted to take care of them in order to prepare them for the life of the metropolis. Far away from the customs and rules of the metropolis, the integration of these young Caledonians will allow them to acquire them and to learn to live independently for two years.

Our mission:

Because of their choice of studies, students are therefore obliged to leave New Caledonia in order to complete their training program in Metropolitan France. To achieve our objective, we created a training module to facilitate their integration.
